The Investors in People Standard is a straightforward,
proven framework for delivering business improvement through people.
The Investors in People award is a nationally recognised standard for organisations
who improve their performance by managing and developing their people effectively to
ensure that a culture of continuous improvement in patient treatment and
care is at our heart.
Stepping Hill Hospital first achieved this national award in 1997 and has successfully
undergone the reaccreditation standard every two years.
Ensuring a strong performance management and development system is operating throughout
the hospital allows us to make improvements which continually enhance patients experience
year on year. It allows us to meet new challenges and targets and to manage changes
successfully, ensuring we remain the ‘first choice hospital’ for the Stockport and
High Peak community.
